Our Sweet New Addition!

Reese made her debut on Feburary 25, 2010 @ 3:40 p.m.. She was alot bigger than I thought she would be, weighing in at 8lbs. 2oz.

It was an easy delivery! I was actually already in labor when I went into the hospital that morning to be induced. I was having really consistant and strong contractions without the pitocin. I checked in at 8:30 that morning and just relaxed and hung out until it was time to push. We had lots of family that came and sat to wait for her. One of my best friends Tiffany was there to share our special day! We felt so loved by all of the support that we had that day. I was able to get my ephidural whenever I wanted, so I wasn't in pain. The ephidural was alittle painful, but not too bad. The nurse came in and told me I was at an 8 and 15 minutes later Reese was here!! It happened to soo fast! I was so happy to finally hear her little cry and to see her little face. I started crying when I saw her and I don't know why! I guess I was just really emotional, but really happy at the same time. I had to stay in hospital for 2 nights bc I had my tubes tied that next morning. That was more painful than the whole labor and delivery was. People keep asking me if I am regretting my decision to have my tubes tied and I am not. I think that 3 kids is plenty and I am very happy with our family of 5!

Avery and Haidyn were really great babies and I just knew I was doomed to have a fussy, colic, needy baby, but Reese is probably the best of all 3!! She is just a chill and sweet girl! She sleeps, eats and will just lay there and look around. I have to wake up about 2 times a night with her to eat and the she goes back to sleep.

The girls absolutley love her!! They give her kisses all the time and try to put her passy in her mouth or feed her. They are LOTS of help (alittle sarcasm in that statement), but they mean well!! Avery actually had tried to pick her up when I was not in the room. I told her that was a big time NO NO and to never do that again!! She is not a babydoll, that you can pick up and play with whenever you want! It was alittle crazy around here the first couple of days after Reese and I came home, but things have really settled down and we have a routine going again. I had to keep all 3 girls by myself on Saturday for the 1st time and I was really nervous!! Everything went great, but then again all Reese does is sleep, so it was like I still only had 2!!

Think that Reese looks like a good mix of both of the girls. She has the darker hair like Avery and the darker skin like Avery. I think she has Haidyn and James's mouth and nose. It will be so interesting to see how much she changes over the next couple of weeks and who she will end up favoring.

We just love our little Reese and are so very blessed to have another beautiful and healthy little girl!!

The Time Has Come....

For our sweet Kamryn Reese to arrive!! I am being induced tomorrow morning at 8:30 in the morning and we are so excited! I can't believe that it is already here and this will be our last night as a family of 4! I am so ready to hold her, to see who and what she looks like, what the girls and James think of her and just to know that she is ok. There is no reason as to why she wouldn't be ok, but I will just feel better to have her out and to be able to see her with my very own eyes! I will be having the tubal procedure done on Friday morning and will probably be released on Saturday morning.

Today, was my last day at work and I am so lucky to work with some really amazing people. The ladies at work threw me a shower about a month ago and have been showering me with gifts at work too! I came into work yesterday and there was a really cute diaper cake sitting on my desk from everyone at the office and it was so cute! I will miss everyone at work and I will be excited to go back to see them in 6 weeks.

I have finally gotten Haidyn out of her crib and into the big girl bed, so that Reese could have her room. I redid a room for Avery and Haidyn to share and Reese will have her own nursery. Since, Haidyn is out of the crib, I have just now been able to begin on her room. Tiffany and I got alot done on it this past weekend and I am already in love with it. I feel like there is still lots to do, but it will have to wait until I am healed up and can go shopping again.

I will be sure to post a blog with our newest addition as soon as I can.

Kamryn Reese Heard

We have only 3 weeks and 1 day until our little Kamryn is suppose to make her debut!!

Yes, we are pregnant again and are soo excited! Some ppl. make think that we are too young and crazy for having 3 little ones so close together, but we don't. Yes, children are expensive and at times it can be hectic, but I love our little angels and think that we are very blessed. It was not a planned pregnancy and yes we were using protection, but still ended up pregnant. I guess that God had a plan for us. This will definately be our last baby bc I have signed the paperwork to have my tubes tied. We would like to have a boy, but 3 little girls is plenty for us.

My official due date is March 2, 2010. I don't know that I will make it to that date. I have been having some contractions already and I woke up this morning and started scrubbing floors and walls. I have an unbelievable amount of energy today and I haven't had that since my 2nd trimester. The girls are excited for their new little sister. Avery is most excited! She said, that she is going to help give baby Reese a bath, feed her, change her diaper, rock her and kiss her. She is so sweet. I think Haidyn is excited until she gets here and realizes how much of mommy's attention Reese will be getting and she will not like her so much. Haidyn is very much a mommy's girl and gets jealous very easily!!

Our bags are packed and we just have to wait for her arrival. I will have my check-up on Thursday and I will see if I have started dialating. This week he could feel her head, but didn't want to poke around too much and kick start any labor.

I just thought that I would get on here and give a quick update on us. I know it has been sooo long, but as you can see we have had alot going on!

I just want to say how amazing our friends Zach and Tiffany have been to us! The Pifer's have been with us almost every weekend lately helping us get furniture moved and rooms redone. Tiffany threw us a baby 'sprinkle' last weekend and it was amazing! I am so very grateful for their friendship and I am glad that they are beside us thru this journey :)

Hey, everyone! So, I know that I have fallen off whole blogging thing, but I am back :)

Things have been a little crazy around here lately, so I have not had to much time to blog. So, here is a small update and I hope to get back to blogging more regularly.

I became and Aunt last month. I have a precious new little nephew and I kinda like being able to hold a little baby again. It is alittle weird seeing a little baby boy bc I am use to little girls. I have had to change a couple of diapers and I def. have to have my sister help me bc I don't know how you are suppose to clean the extra parts.

I have not been really working since November of last yr. bc of the economy not doing so well, so my boss kinda had to let me go. I was really just filling in up at the office if he needed me. Well, I decided that it wasn't working for us anymore and that I needed to find a full time job. The only problem I was running into, was finding a job that would pay enough for me to justify putting the girls in daycare. Daycare is def. not cheap and I am not going to work just for the money to go straight to them. I would much rather stay at home and be with our girls than that. So, I started looking and I put my application in with the State for a clerical position and I actually got a call back for an interview!! I was shocked and excited, but nervous bc I have never really had a formal interview before. So, I went in for my interview on a Friday and I cried when it was over bc I thought I blew it!! It is a great job with amazing benefits and I was crushed bc I just knew that I was not going to get it. Well, on Tuesday, I got a call from the supervisor that interviewed me and he asked if I would except the position!! I told him of course and I just started this past Monday. I absolutely LOVE it and I really like all the ppl. that I work with. It is a VERY fast paced job, so time really flies by and there is never a dull moment. I am mainly going to be doing scheduling for 11 caseworkers in our department and I will more than likely have to help with the other departments. This week, I did some computer training, scheduling, screening applications and so on. It was hard at first to be away from the girls so much, but it is a great thing for our family that I got the job.

With me starting the new job, the girls started daycare. Avery has attended this daycare before and I really liked it in the past. She really was learning lots of new things, so I enrolled both girls in there. The 1st 3 mornings were AWEFUL bc the girls cried when I took them to their rooms and of course I had to cry!! Haidyn, got sick on Tuesday night with a high fever and I thought she might have an ear infection. We took her to Urgent Care Wed. night after I got off of work and they went ahead and did a flu test and it came back POSITIVE!! The dr. told me not to freak out! He said, it isn't as bad as the tv is making it to be and that she should be fine in 7 days. So far, no complications and she is actually not having alot of the symptoms he told me she would. Now, Avery is starting with some of them, but no fever yet. I am hoping hers is just allergies and the H1N1 flu!!

So, everyone is doing great and we are loving that the fall weather is here!! This is my favorite time of the year and I can't wait for Halloween. The girls, James and I put up our Halloween decorations last weekend and I LOVE IT! The fair starts here for us next week and I am super excited for it. The girls will have a blast and I can't wait to go to some concerts.

Avery's 1st Movie Experience..

Today, my mom, grandma and I took little miss Avery to the movies. It was her very 1st time and it was so much fun. We took her to see Ice Age-Dawn of the Dinosaur and it was a cute movie.

We got there, got our tickets and headed inside. When you first walk in there are lots of lights and games and her face was priceless!! I wish I could have caught it on camera. She was just taken back by everything. We took her to the concession stand and she picked out popcorn, cherry icee and twizzlers. She was set and so we headed to theatre #7. We were the only ones in that movie and I was kinda glad bc I didn't know how she was going to act. She was so good and sat the whole time and snacked and would just crack up at some of the scenes. I was really happy that she made it thru the whole movie.

It was so much fun and I know she can't wait to go back!

Little Miss Haidyn has really gotten some personality lately! She has always been such a smiley and happy baby, but since she has turned 1, she has changed so much! She is talking so much more, she is very brave and climbs on everything, she is basically running everywhere, pointing to facial features and tells us what they are and so much more.

Her latest is making her "mean face". It is so funny and she does it everytime you ask her! Here is a little video of our little stinker....

Hey, blogger friends!

As, most of you know, our sweet friends The Pifer's have their 3rd dr.'s appt. tomorrow in Austin. We are praying that her" little" follies grew over the past 3 days and she gets the good news that they deserve and their dr. tells them, that they are right on track for their IUI's.

Well, if you haven't heard the story of her fortune she got in her fortune cookie last weekend, let me fill you in. Her fortune said, "Pay close attention to the color purple, for it will bring you good luck." (Might not be the exact words, but close). Anyways, my girls and I were able to go with Tiffany this past Thurs. to her dr appt. and we wore our purple and it made Tiffany extremely happy :).

So, tomorrow if you could pls. show your support and help bring good luck and good vibes to the Pifer's by wearing your purple!! If you get a chance and could take a pic of yourself wearing your purple and email it to piferbeanfund@yahoo.com that would be amazing; I would love to put together a post with everyone's pic and that way The Pifer's could see how many ppl are praying and supporting them through this new chapter in their life!

Saturday night my mom kept the girls for James and I. We have not been out in a while, so we wanted to hangout with our friends. It was The Pifer's, The Sim's, Aimee (my sister), Matt and his friend. We all met at La Fiest first and ate dinner and hungout. After dinner, we headed to the Westview Lanes and got our bowl on.

I have not been bowling in a couple of years and it was too much fun. We got there about 11 and the Extreme Bowling had already begun. The lights were all off, black lights on, music and unlimited bowling. I am def. not good, but I think my game improved as the night went on. Tiffany was really good and got tones of spares! James is really good, but he use to play in a league a long time ago! Aimee shocked me by how well she plays. She was 1 pin away from a Turkey (3 strikes in a row)and she def. kicked my butt. My arm was so tired after about 4 games and I had to quit and I def. felt it the next day. Those balls are so heavy and my weak arms really have to work to get it down the lane..haha! We bowled til about 1:00 am and then all headed home. I love nights like these and I want to go bowling again soon. We are even talking about joining a league...that should be interesting!!!

Our girls favorite place to go and eat would be Souper Salad!! They absolutely love their veggies and fruit and they eat soo much!! Both girls love salad, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew melon. That is what their meals consist of. Avery will tell us that she wants to eat, "Soup Salad". We took them last Friday night and I snapped a couple of pics with my phone of them bc they are just too cute!

Happy 4th of July-pic overload

I hope that everyone had a fabulous 4th of July!! Our day was wonderful and it was so nice to spend it with our family.

Saturday- we got up and played around the house for most of the morning. We left Waco about 2:00 and headed to the lakehouse. The lakehouse is on Cedar Creek Lake and it is about an hour and a half away at most. This is our 2nd year to spend the 4th there. We were able to spend it with James's mom, sister and other family. It was our house and the house next door just having a big celebration. There was delicious bbq, live band, amazing fireworks, boating, fishing and swimming!

We took the girls out on the boat when we got there. It was Avery's 2nd time on the boat and Haidyn's 1st. They both loved it! It was so hot outside, so it was nice to get on the boat and go for a breezy ride. Some of the girls did some tubing and Avery loved watching them do that. After, the boat we sat on the dock and watched James, his sister and the other kids jump off of the very top. The kids think that James is so much fun bc he does the stuff they want him too! Haha..he is just a big kid himself.

We then ate some food and just hungout. I guess the firework show started about 10:00 and it was AMAZING!! I looked out at the lake before the show started and there were about 10 boats just parked in the middle of the lake waiting. The girls liked the show too. I was really worried that the loud pops would scare them, but they both did so well. After, the fireworks we changed the girls into their pj's and headed home. We finally got home about 1:15 in the morning and we passed out!

We had so much fun and I love going to the lakehouse bc it is so beautiful out there and so relaxing!! We are going to go and spend a weekend there coming up really soon and I can't wait!! This is also, the place that we want to have our wedding ceremony and we got the dates blacked out for it next year. It is just so peaceful and would love to get married by the water at sunset and just have a nice reception afterwards.

Well, my little girls are some dancin' fools!! It has basically become a nightly ritual that we have a dance party before bedtime. It is sooo cute, how Avery has to have the perfect song and she has to have everyone one of us in the room to dance. I love how she will grab my hand or her daddy's hand and we just dance and laugh as if there is not a care in world (which when it is dance party time...there really isn't bc it is just us and it is so much fun)!! Haidyn is getting to where she really gets into the dancing too. She tries dancing standing up, but usually ends up on the floor jamming out. She watches her sister and tries to copy the moves she is doing. They are so amazing together!

I love our sweet little family moments and I think I am just so blessed to be able to share them with you!

Last week, I got an email from Tiffany and she said, that she wanted to thank me for everything that I have done for her Zach and for always being there for her. I really don't need anything to know how thankful she is, but she has teamed up with Julie of Sweet T Designs and Julie is redoing my blog!!!! I was in total shock and I can't tell you how exicited I am. Julie did Tiffany's blog and her blog designs are amazing! I cannot wait to see the end product. Last Thursday, out sweet little girl took her first big girl steps all by herself!! I have been trying ever since to get it on video and I finally did today! She is just so cute doing her wobbly walk! I just love it!!

Father's Day Weekend

We had such a relaxing and fun family weekend. It seems like the past couple of weekends have just been so hectic and lots of stuff going on, it was nice for it to be just us!!

Friday night- After a hot day at bootcamp and James having a hard and hot day at work, we just sat at home and relaxed. The girls were in bed pretty early, so James and I just hung out and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Every friday night we watch a show called Whale Wars on the Animal Planet. We just love it!! It is soo great to watch these ppl. risk their lives to stop the Japenese from whaling!! Too GOOD!

Saturday- I worked til about 2:00 and James got off pretty early too. We hung out at the house until it cooled off alittle bit and then took the girls over to the water park off of Chapel Rd. They had a blast! Avery was alittle aprehensive about the water at first and that is not like her at all. Tator's was all about it and just going thru the water spouts and was totally fearless. She is walking a little bit, but not enough to walk thru the water by herself. I had to help her walk around, but then she got tired of me holding onto her and she wanted to go on her own. I know I have my hands full with this girl. Avery was all about the water after a few minutes. There were alot of little ones running around everywhere and I am glad the girls had a good time. After, the water park we went and got a few groceries at HEB and came home, cooked dinner and just had another relaxing night.

Sunday- Father's Day....I woke up with the girls and we let James sleep in. I made some yummy breakfast for all of us and Avery went into our bedroom and gave James is breakfast. James ate and back to bed he went. With it getting so hot out, his job takes alot out of him and Sunday's he usually likes to just rest and be lazy. I figured since it was Father's Day and he hasn't been able to rest the past couple Sunday's, he could sleep all day if he wanted and that is what he did. Me and the girls played outside in the pool and they layed down for a nap and I got to layout some more. After the pool we went and saw my dad for a little bit and came home got James and headed to my mom's for a cookout. It was delicious and we all just sat around and talked, ate and laughed. It was a great day and I know James was sooo glad to catch up on the rest. We love you honey and you are the BEST DADDY IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND THE BEST MAN THAT I COULD EVER ASK FOR!!!!!!!!!!

What Will The Big Announcement Be??

I wonder what the "BIG" anncouncement will be on Jon and Kate Plus 8?!? I hope that it is-they are stopping the show after this season, to work on their marriage!! I think it would be devestating for the kids if they divorce. I have a feeling that they are splitting!! It just seems lately, that they are both leading different lives and they never seem to be together. I personally think, that Jon has already checked out. It is just so sad.

Guess, we will have to tune in tonight and see. I have bootcamp tonight and we have to go help my grandma afterwards, but I already have it set to record on the DVR.

So...Monday, started our 5 week fitness bootcamp. I am doing it with 2 of my sweetest and greatest friends Tiffany and Kristina. I was unable to attend on Monday bc I had a horrible sunburn and also, could not get out of work on time. I went yesterday and HOLY CRAP it is soooooo hard!! It is probably on the most challenging things that I have every had to do. It probably wouldn't be so bad if we weren't doing it during the hottest part of the day! It is outdoors at Woodway park and I guess with it being so hot out, we will just sweat more and drop more lbs.. I don't necessarily want to lose anymore weight, I just really want to tone up. I am so unbelievably sore today and it is so hard to walk and pick the girls up! I love that I am doing it with these 2 ladies bc we are each others support system and it is a great experience. Tiffany is going to be coming over to my house every monday, wednesday and friday after she gets off of work to hangout till the camp starts. I took a before pic in a swim suit and I am going to take the after pic, when camp is done. We are already talking about just continuing to go thru the next camp, that will start after ours is finished! I can't wait to see the end results.

Weekend with old friends

This past weekend was so great and relaxing. We hung with some of our old high school friends and it was a blast. I love getting together with them and reliving the old days. There are some pretty funny and crazy things we use to do!!

Saturday- I took the girls to get their pics made..as you know. Afterwards, our friend Selena was intown with her little girl and we decided we wanted to cookout and sit out back around the pool. It was James, me, Avery, Haidyn, Selena, Ryann (her baby), Ashley, Gracie (her baby), Jessica (Selena's cousing from S.C.), James and Mason. We cooked chicken, steak, hotdogs, potatoe salad, some kinda macaroni salad, corn on the cob and it was all soo good. We just had a few beers and relaxed. Ashley had just gotten back from her trip to Mexico and OMG..she was so dark! Selena and James swam with the girls bc I don't yet feel comfortable in a swim suit and they loved it. We all then went inside and everyone played with my little girls. They loved them and could not get over how big they are getting and how funny they are. Ryann fell asleep about the time we got there, so she missed out on the fun :( The girls watched the Lion King (I LOVE that movie) and Selena built them a really nice pallet on the floor. We just had so much fun over there and I can't wait for Sel's to come back, so we can do it again.

Sunday- I woke up pretty early with the girls and we just played. We took them over to my mom's about 1 bc we had to meet Ash at Ridgewood about 1:30, to go out on the boat. It was me, James, Ash, Matt and Cameron. We got on the boat and drove out to the middle and just parked it, listened to music and Ash and I layed out on the front of the boat and chit-chatted for about an hour. The guys then decided they want to ski alittle bit. It was really choppy out there, but they all did pretty good. After, they were done, we all just jumped in the water and floated on life jackets and cooled off for a while. Me and Ash got out there and skiied and skiing is the biggest whole body workout ever!! It is killer! We then went to the Speegleville Marina and got something to eat at the Slippery Minnow (it was yummy) and then went home. We finally, got off the lake about 7:30 and we were burnt to a crisp! James was using sunblock the whole time, but he burned worse than I did. We had so much fun and can't wait to have many more fun times on the boat.

Part of my grandma's gift to Haidyn, was for her to pay to get Haidyn's 1 yr. pics made. We went over to Sear's on Saturday night and I think they turned out pretty cute. I wanted to go ahead and get a new family pic of us made, but James didn't get off of work in time, so we will be doing that in the next couple of weeks. Today, we had Haidyn's 1 yr. check-up and everything went really good!

The dr. said, that she is a very smart little girl and she is advanced for her age. He said, that she is doing alot of stuff that 15 month old babies do. Haidyn weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19.5 in. long the day she was born. Her weight today at her checkup was 20 lbs. 3 oz., she was 2ft. 4 in. and her head circumference was 44.2 cm.. She was in the 45th percentile for height and weight. She had to get 5 shots and her finger pricked for a blood count test. She cried so hard and it was so hard to see her go thru the pain. I was sick at my stomach all morning knowing we had to get shots. I took Avery with me and it was her 1st time to go with me, when Haidyn had to get shots. Avery DID NOT like it when they were making her sister cry!! Avery would cry and yell at the nurse, "NO, NO, STOP HURTING SISTER"!!!! It was sweet and Avery LOVES her little sister.

I asked the dr. about her carseat needing to face the back, and he told me that they are recommending that they face the back until the age of 2, but it is not law yet. So, I am guessing she will be flipped around. Thank you Courtney for informing me of that!!

Haidyn did really well all day and didn't act like her legs were bothering her to much. This evening she got a little cranky bc I think they were alittle sore, so I gave her some baby motrin, a nice warm bath and she is now sound asleep. I pray that they don't bother her tomorrow.

Sabrina Update

I have talked to Sabrina the past couple of days and I have been trying to talk her into starting a blog, so we can keep up with Michael and his progress. Slippin' and Slidin'

At Haidyn's party, a couple of family members thought that Avery needed gifts too, so she didn't feel left out. The girl is SPOILED!!! One of the gifts she got was a Dora Slip-n-Slide.

Avery would live outside in the water if I would let her...seriously! She wakes up saying swimmin' pool or she would take 10 baths a day bc it meant being in the water, I have to sneak and take a shower bc she thinks she needs to get in there too. You should see the way her little eyes light up when I ask her if she wants to go swimming. It is so adorable. So, to have Dora (her favorite cartoon ever) and a water contraption in 1, is like the best thing to ever happen to her!!! hahaha...we put it out in the front for them on Sunday and they had so much fun. Haidyn, would just sit there at first, but then started crawling up and down it and slippin' around. Avery learned towards the end how to run and slide. Avery would run and slide towards Haidyn and they would both just crack up. It was alot of fun to watch them and I have to say, Thank you to James's sister for the wonderful gift.

Big Girl Carseat

Haidyn got her big girl carseat for her birthday, from her Lala. Avery's is pink and brown and I wanted for Haidyn's to be the same colors. It is really cute and Haidyn absolutely loves it! I still feel like she is just too little be facing forwards and to be sitting upright, but it is time. She likes being able to see everything in front of her and Avery likes for her to be facing forward too. They both are able to interact with each other more.

Tator's eyes in some of the pics are swollen looking and today she is running a low grade fever, has a runny nose and is hoarse. I guess maybe her allergies are bothering her :( I am going to continue to monitor her fever and other symptoms and will take her to the dr. if they get any worse. If not, then I will just ask the dr. to check her on Friday at her checkup.

Saturday, June 6th 2009, our sweet girl finally turned the BIG 1!! She had a fantastic birthday! She started it by sleeping till 10:15 in the morning..hahaha sleepy head. I fed her a yummy breakfast and then we had to go out and run some last minute errands. We went and picked up Tiff and headed out to do some decorating. Her party was really fun and turned out really cute. This little girl got sooooo many cute clothes and I don't know if she will be able to wear them all before summer is over! haha....I was really interested in wether or not she would really dig into and play with her cake, or just kinda look at it. Well, Haidyn went to town on it and I am so happy. We got some really good pics of her getting all messy. We had family and friends over, cooked some hotdogs and just hungout. It was a great time and I am so glad that everyone was able to celebrate this HUGE milestone in Haidyn's life. I can't believe that she is one and before I know it she will be starting kindergarten!

Here are a few things that she is doing:
-Says mama, dada, Hi, sassius (suppose to be cassius-our boxer), no no, papa, nana
-can stand on her own, but when she realizes what she is doing, she quickly sits down
-she walks around, but with much needed help
-sleeps thru the night
-sucks out of straws
-NO MORE BOTTLES!!! At 1, I take the bottles away
-She doesn't use a pacifier. She used it for about the 1st 5 months of her life and then just stopped one day.
-eats anything you put in front of her!!!

She has her 1 yr. check-up on Friday and I am totally dreading it bc of the stupid shots!! I will give an update on her weight and everything.

Her birthday isn't until tomorrow, but I am about to get busy and won't really have time to get back on the computer and I wanted to go ahead and get it posted. I made Haidyn a slide show documenting her 1st yr. on this earth!! Of course, I couldn't fit all of the pics I wanted to, but I still like how it turned out. I am in total shock that she will already be one! Where does the time go? I am not at all emotional about this and I guess it is bc I have been thru it with Avery. I am just so excited for her and I am going to make this the BEST day for her! I want her to have an amazing party and for everything to be all about our sweet girl. We are truley blessed to have such a beautiful and sweet girl and I thank god everyday for her! We Love You Little Tator Tot!!

Little Miss Big Stuff...

So, Haidyn and I were in the living room today and she was playing on the floor. All of a sudden she started standing up in the middle of the floor all by herself. She kept doing it and it was cracking me up and it totally suprised me! It is so funny how one minute babies act like they don't know how to do something and then the next they are doing it so naturally. She is getting so big and I cannot believe it. I can't believe that a yr. ago today, I was at the dr.'s office for my weekly check-up and the dr. asked me if I was ready and I said, yes. The next thing I knew, we were scheduling me to be induced and we were going to meet our little angel on 6-6-08. I am so excited for her 1st bday on Sat. Here is the little video I caught her doing her standing thing. She isn't real good at it yet, but she sure is trying. I don't think her little legs are strong enough.

Today, I was off of work and got to stay home with my little angels!! Avery layed down and took a long nap and Haidyn wasn't sleepy, so we decided to go out and play in the pool. We had a great time just splashing around and playing with toys. Here are some pics......

Tonight-we all ate dinner and James and I gave the girls a bath. After their bath, we decided to go to Bahama Bucks in Hewitt and get some snocones. This is Avery's 1st time to ever have a snocone, so I told her that we would take her to get a surprise. She was soo excited. I ordered her a baby Pink Bubblegum snocone, I got a Wedding Cake snocone, James got a Bahamakaze smoothie and Tator's got alittle of everybody's. Avery's reaction when we got her snocone was priceless!! She thought it was yummy and here are some pics of our trip.....

Our Memorial Weekend....

We headed to Dallas this weekend to spend time with James's mom and sister for Memorial Day. We left Sat. afternoon, after James got off of work and came back on Monday. His mom lives in Rockwall and I just love that area of Dallas. She lives very close to Lake Ray Hubbard and there is a strip right on the water, that has really nice restaurants, cool shops, movie theatre and fountains. It is called the Harbor, and ppl. can pull up, dock their boat and do some shopping or grab a bite to eat. It is so nice and we love to go down there and walk around. They have this huge dancing fountain and Avery goes nuts when she sees it. We put her swim suit on her bc you can go and play in the water. After, the harbor, we went back home and put on our pj's and just visited. Sunday, we woke up and went to a family member's house and ate lunch and did some fishing. About 3 miles before getting to Bill's house, we passed Dieon Sander's house and it is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL!! I wish it was my house =) We had a great time fishing and ate some yummy burgers. We just went home afterwards and jumped on the trampoline and hungout with James's mom and sister. Monday, we woke up and headed home about 11:30. When we got home we just swam and played in the backyard all afternoon. We ate dinner, let the girls pigout on some watermelon on the back patio, gave them a bath and took a nice walk thru our neighborhood. It was a nice and relaxing family weekend and I LOVED IT!!

Our little lady is turning 1....

Exactly 2 weeks from tomorrow, our sweet little girl Haidyn will be 1!!! I cannot believe how fast it has gone by! We are having a lady bug themed party for her and I am super excited. I am glad that her bday falls on a Sat., so we can have her party then. We will be having family and friends out at James's grandparents house in Lorena. They have a HUGE and beautiful backyard and the party will be in the evening time, so it won't be too hot out. We are going to cook some hotdogs, there will be a bouncy house, some fun little games, the adults can play washers, do cake and presents. It will be very relaxed and sooo much fun!! I can't wait to see her dig into her cake and get super messy!! I made her invitations this week and it took me forever! I had to hand cut out every little body, wings and spots! My hands were killing me, but Haidyn is sooo worth it!!

Helping The Pifers "Grow"

Hello Everyone

I’m one of Tiffany and Zach’s best friends.

Being The Pifer's personal friend and watching in person them struggle through this infertility journey, I've always thought of ways I could help them besides the obvious prayers that have been said. When an actual fertility clinic came into play for The Pifers, I could see the fear in their faces and the hurt in their hearts. This was a step we were all hoping they would never have to take. They are extremely excited but also scared for that next step and chapter in their lives. The cost of an infertility clinic is outrageous. Insurance will not cover a dime!!

Just to put into perspective a general estimate for the clinic is as follows:

The initial consultation can cost up to $900. They will have to pay for ultrasounds ($150) ,blood work ($125) & actual procedures will range from $300-$20,000 as well as shots she will have to take which can cost up to $1000 each round of shots…keep in mind sometimes it takes more than one round.

We have created a Pifer Bean Fundraiser in hopes to help The Pifers through this infertility journey!!

We will be selling wristbands & key chains to help raise money for their upcoming fertility clinic appointment in July. Not only do we want to help the Pifer's but this will also help spread the awareness of infertility. Haidyn is a pretty smart little girl. She will copy alot of the stuff that you do. If I dance, then she dances. If I cough, then she will fake cough. If I wave, then she waves. So last night, I was holding her and I would stick my tounge out at her and she would stick her back out at me. I would move my tounge from side to side and bc she can't quite do that, so she would move her whole body back and forth. It was soo funny. Here is the video...

My Mother's Day!!

I had a wonderful and very relaxing Mother's Day this year. I started out with us just hanging out at the house all morning and playing with the girls. I am not a big breakfast person, so I didn't get breakfast in bed, but I got coffee in bed :)

Well, when the girls and I got up, I wanted to get a pic of us and I could not find my camera anywhere!! I finally remembered that I had it out in the backyard on Friday when I was watching the girls swim. I ran outside and found my camera sitting in a puddle of water on top of the BBQ pit. I freaked out!! I hurried up and took the battery out of it and dried it off really good. Well, the girls and I started to take a picture together and the lense was fogging up soo bad. It finally got to where I could not see anything. I was so mad at myself for forgetting about it outside. Yes, I want another camera, but no I don't really need to spend the money on it right now. Plus, I wanted my Mother's Day pics and I almost cried thinking I wasn't going to capture them on my camera. So, while the girls played in the tub, I sat on the floor in the bathroom and blow dried my camera on low heat and it worked!!!!!!!! I was SUPER excited!! I will NEVER forget about it outside again.

We then headed over to my grandma's house for lunch with my mom, her bf, my sisters, my uncles, my grandma and us all had some yummy BBQ chicken, veggies, potatoes salad and beans. It was soo good!! Avery and Haidyn played with everyone and put on a show for us all. We sat outside and just visited. It was alot of fun. After my grandma's we just went home and relaxed for the rest of the evening. I got some great gifts and James and I decided that our gift to each other for Mother's/Father's Day will be a couples massage!! I guess we will be doing that next month and I SO cannot wait.

I am soo grateful for my sweet little girls and James. I love them soo very much and I am soo PROUD to be a mommy!!

My sweet friend Tiffany and her mother need some SERIOUS prayers please!! Tiffany's mother recently found out that she has a brain anuerism and a tumor. She is going to need surgery to remove them and they scheduled the surgery for Monday. This is a very risky surgery and her mom has already had an anuerism removed a couple of yrs ago. So, if you could please keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the next couple of weeks, that would be amazing bc they sure could use them. I will be going to the hospital Monday morning to help give Tiff some support and when I hear anything, I will update!

Finally going to be ASHLEY NICOLE HEARD!!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha...I cannot wait!! After, almost 8 yrs. and 2 little angels, James and I are going to get married. We have been wanting to get married for a long time now, but it seems like I have been pregnant or we just really didn't have the time to plan a wedding. I don't want to go to the JP and we thought about going to Vegas, but we both want our families there. I want my little girls to be my flower girls and I want our friends there too. We will be getting married on May 1st 2010 and it will be an outdoor wedding. I already know the colors, flowers, decor, my dress and who all will be in it. I am just soo excited to plan everything and for everything to fall into place. We were going to try and get married on Aug. 29th this yr., but I would much rather take my time and have everything be absolutley perfect!!!

Nascar, Fajitas, Friends and Fishing.....

That is what the Heard weekend consisted of and I LOVED every minute of it!

Well, Saturday started off by James and I both having to work. I am not complaining bc for me to work just means more $$ in our pocket. After work, I went home and picked up, James ran to the store to buy some stuff for Fajitas, I showered and got ready for the Pifer's to come over. James is a HUGE Nascar fan and he thought that it would be fun for the Pifer's to come over and him and Zach could watch the race. Zach and Tiff got there and brought some stuff for us to cook and Tiff bought me my very 1st BRIDAL MAGAZINE-Thank you sooo much for that! The guys relaxed and Tiff and I cooked and played with my girls. We had-homemade guacamole, queso, salsa and fajitas! Our food was delicious. After, dinner Tiff and I had to go and drive Haidyn around Hewitt bc she was fighting her sleep so bad and with ppl being over she def. didn't want to go to bed. James's dad, sister and a family friend stopped by and we were just cracking up at them. They were seriously being to funny. After, the kids were asleep, Tiff and I finally got to sit down and flip thru my magazine and got so many ideas for our wedding. When the race ended, the guys decided they wanted to go to Wal-mart to look at some fishing stuff for our fishing day on Sunday. Me and Tiff stayed home and watched some tv and just talked forever. The guys came home after being gone for about 2 hrs. and surprised us with PINK FISHING POLES =) They are just the sweetest and we just love them to death! Tiff and I loved them and were too excited about using them on Sunday. We then decided to watch The Strangers and it was a stupid movie, but it was good about making us all jump. It was soo funny to watch Tiffany cover her face up with the blanket. I guess they left about 2:00 in the morning and I crashed bc I wanted to be well rested for our fishing trip.

Sunday-I woke up with the girls and cleaned up some more from the night before. We just lounged around and waited till it was time to go fish. We finally left the house about 3 and headed out there. We had a few places to stop before on the way, but we finally made it. It was Me, James, Avery, Haidyn, my sister Aimee, Tiffany, Zach, Sasha, James's sister, her boyfriend, and James's little brother. The place is soo beautiful and we had a freakin' blast!! Tiffany hasn't been fishing since she was in like the 5th grade and I couldn't wait to see her catch something. I was the 1st person to catch anything. I caught a tiny little catfish and we threw it back. Avery was soo funny bc she had her little Dora fishing pole and she would put her little plastic fish in the water and reel it up. She would tell me, "I caught big fish!!" and it was too cute. She fished the whole time we were there. Haidyn would just hang out on the dock in her walker or the stroller. Tiffany got a bite on her pole and we all thought she had a HUGE fish and she was reeling it in and it was a GIANT turtle!! Tiffany's face while reeling her turtle in was priceless. James did pretty good and caught a couple. He really helped us on baiting our hooks and taking the fish off. We cooked hot dogs, hot links and made some yummy smores! I could spend all day and night out there bc it is just soo nice. We listend to country music, watched the sunset and just laughed and it is like you have NO worries out there. We finally decided it was time to go home about 10:00 bc everyone had to go to work today. We are going to go again really soon and I am soo excited for it! Here are some great pics.....

Little Miss Haidyn is pulling up to EVERYTHING now including her inside her crib!! I walked in there and she was standing up and bouncing up and down while holding the rail. It freaked me out soo bad and I made James lower her mattress that night! I can't believe that we had to move matress down already!! This would be the little milestone :( I didn't want her to bounce right over the edge. Now, she can play and bounce all she wants bc she isn't going anywhere. That same night, James was able to rock Haidyn to sleep for the 1st time ever too! It was soo cute bc after she fell asleep he looked at me with a total surprised look and said, "wow..this is the 1st time I have been able to do this!". You see..Haidyn is not a very cuddly baby, especially when it is time for her to go to sleep. She likes her space and wants to be put in her bed and she will go right to sleep. So, I had to get a pic of his 1st time rocking her to sleep. I will say though, Haidyn has been alittle harder to get to bed lately. Tiffany and I actually had to drive her around on Friday night to get her to go to sleep. She was fighting it soo bad!

We had a really good weekend. It started out on Sat. with the March of Dimes walk. We walked 3 miles and the girls had a great time. We met at Satrbucks before the walk, to get us some coffee bc it was kinda early! After, the walk Avery jumped in the bouncy house and she LOVED it. They got some popsicles and we went home. Thank you Tiffany for helping me out with the girls :) Here are a few pics...

Sunday, we all kinda slept in bc we woke up soo early on Sat. We just played most of the morning and the the Nascar race came on and James's dad came over to watch. Avery loves her Papa! While the race was on, us girls all napped and when we woke up the race was over. It was still kinda early in the day and we decided to go fishing. We bought Avery her 1st fishing pole the other day and she is obsessed with it. It is a Dora fishing pole and she thinks she has to carry it around everywhere. She even fell asleep with it the 1st night we bought it for her. We went out to Axtell to fish and it was absolutely a beautiful place!! The dock is all wired up with big lights, radio, had a fire pit. It was great. They were catching fish left and right-mostly catfish. Avery went over and fed the cows thru the fence and she was soo excited. When it got dark we built a fire and roasted some marshmallows, hung out for a little longer then headed home. I think we are going to go fishing again this weekend and I can't wait!!

This week is National Infertility Week. I never really knew anything about the issue, that is until I met my dear and sweet friend Tiffany Pifer. I knew what infertility was and what it meant, but I never really knew the heartache and everything that these "infertile" women go through to try and conceive a child. Tiffany would probably give her left leg to just hear those words, "you're pregnant".

While getting to know Tiff, I would find myself researching online or asking her tons of different questions about her infertility. I just want to know and understand a little more about "why" she has a hard time and others don't. Is this something that runs in the family? Could it really be because of birth control that she was once on? What will be the 1st step at the fertility clinic? Why hasn't an IUI worked?

The other night when we went to dinner and then up to Crickets, shortly after she had something weird happen. She felt dizzy, a pain in her lower abdomen and it didn't really last very long; however it bothered her enough to want to sit down for a while. We didn't know what it was and still really don't, but that following Monday, I was watching The Dr.s and a lady called in because she always has a bad pain in her abdomen, she gets really dizzy and kind of feels sick when she ovulates. This doesn't always happen to women, but some women can totally time ovulation by it. Well, I immediately called Tiff and told her what I had just seen and we looked it up on the computer and I read all the symptoms off and they all described what she experienced that night. Normally Tiff is really good with her cycles and knows exactly where she is, when she will ovulate and so forth, however this cycle she has had so much going on that she just hasn't had time to think about it, so we counted off the days on the calendar and it fell perfect for when women normally ovulate. We both just found it to be soo interesting and are hoping that was what it was and maybe a little Pifer Bean will the result of our discovery!! I HOPE, PRAY and WANT SOOOO badly for that to be the end result!!

I think that Tiffany and other women that are going through this thought journey called "infertility" are sooo AMAZING and very inspirational! Tiffany is soo strong and maybe, she wasn't always that way in the beginning, but how could you be. It just seems so unfair that a couple that would be the best and most loving parents can't have the baby they deserve, but a woman gets pregnant and ends up brutally hurting or killing their child later on?!?! HOW and WHY?? I think this is something that I will never understand.

Tiffany-you are truly AMAZING and so STRONG! You are such an inspiration to other women out there that are going down the same "TTC road". You NEVER give up on your dream of a "Pifer Bean"!! You will be able to write your, "I'm PREGNANT!!!!!!!" Blog one day and I CANNOT wait! I will probably sit there and read it 1,000 times just because I will be bawling from the title and the actual body of the post will be soo blurry from my tears! Haha...I watch you with my girls or with Audree and I know you are going to be a fantastic mom, who won't be bothered by the sleepless night, dirty diapers, vomit, fussiness and all the other fun stuff that motherhood brings! I have learned so much from you in the short amount of time I have known you and I have so much RESPECT for you and the other women that are in your shoes! I hope you don't get annoyed with all the questions or me asking you, "how you are doing or how you are feeling"? I know your 3 year mark was kinda rough and you were dreading it for a while, but you really handled it well and with an upbeat attitude and I applaud you for that because there are not alot of women out there that can continuously look at the positives and not the negatives. You know I am always here for you NO matter what and I love you to death girl!!

Well, I talked to Sabrina yesterday afternoon on the phone and she sounded pretty good despite everything that is going on. I could hear little Michael in the background talking and he just sounded soo sweet. She said, that he was doing pretty good, just kinda sore from being poked at with needles and having the bone marrow takin. He went into surgery this morning to have a Port a Cath put in, so that when he get his Chemo treatments, they will just put it into the Port a Cath and not have to sick him with I.V. needles every month. He also, was having a spinal tap done today and receiving his 1st Chemo treatment. They will have to stay in the hospital for about a week, to make sure that he takes to the Chemo ok and that he is able to keep his food down and not get too sick from it. He will have to get a Chemo treatment every month for 3 yrs.. They have a long tough road ahead of them and she would really appreciate all the prayers they can get. The dr.'s said, that the survival rate for beating this is about 85-90% and I think those are great odds and he will def. pull thru this. She just wrote me a text message to tell me that Michael is out of surgery and in ALOT of pain. I just wanted to keep ppl. updated on the latest....

My Heart Breaks...Need prayers for a dear friend!

One of my very best friends needs veryone to say a prayer for them. Sabrina and I have been best friends since the 3rd grade, she is now married and living in Las Vegas. Her and her husband have a little boy named Michael and he is 3 yrs. old. They just found out today that Michael has Luekemia and will have to start chemo treatment this coming week. It all started with Michael having a high fever for a couple of days that wouldn't break and they took him in to see the dr. and the dr. noticed his coloring wasn't right. He said that he looked really pale and they drew some blood and his blood count was down, they had to give him a blood transfusion last night and has been in the hospital since. They took some bone marrow today to test for the luekemia and she wrote me this evening and said it was positive. My heart just breaks soo bad for her! I could not even imagine finding something like that out about my girls. I wish I could be there for her to hold her hand and to lend my shoulder for her to cry on and just if she wanted to be mad for a second bc this is happening to a sweet innocent little boy, who has done nothing to deserve this-I would just let her scream if she wanted! PLEASE EVERYONE JUST PRAY THAT THEY CAN BEAT THIS AND SHE CAN STAY STRONG FOR HER LITTLE BOY!!

Today, I had to work for a couple of hrs in the morning, then we came home and the girls napped. While they were napping, I put on my swimsuit and tanning oil, went outside and got their new little pool all blown up with the air pump and put together. I took it to the back and filled it with water and just sat in the chair and soaked in the sun!! I am sooo excited for this weather. If it could just stay like it was today and not get any hotter, it would be perfect! So, after sitting outside for an hour by myself, I decided to go wake the girls up and got them into their swimsuits and we went out to play. They had a blast and Avery just loved the slide part of the pool. Haidyn just really hung out and was a little shocked by the cool water, but quickly got over it. I am going to go today and get them some new suits and lots of toys for the backyard bc I have a feeling we will spend lots of our afternoons out there!

Kite Flying-Started out fun and ended in disaster!

Avery got a kite in one of her Easter baskets last weekend and today was the 1st day we were able to fly it. She has been soooooooo excited about playing with this kite. So, she woke up from her nap and we went out our back gate and flew it for the 1st time. I did it first to show how to hold it and to show her how high it would go. She thought this was the coolest thing she has ever seen. It is just so cute how kids get soo excited over the smallest things. After, the kite fell to the ground, she wanted to hold the end and she wanted to fly it. I got her started and got it in the air and she did soo good with it. She thought she was such a big girl for holding her own kite. She was able to do this a couple of times and then it went down hill from there!!! I got it started for her once again, handed the kite to her and she was loving it, I grabbed my camera to video her , the wind picked up and she let go of the handle! The kite flew away and was going faster than I could run and got caught in the trees and we lost it! She wanted it back soo bad, so we have to go and buy her another one tomorrow :( It flew forever in the sky, above the whole park with the string caught in the trees. Here are some pics...

Friday night, we met the Pifer's at La Fiesta for a dinner/small bday celebration for Zach and we had too much fun!! We had a small wait when we got there, so we sat at the bar and Tiff and I ordered Texas Twister Margaritas (Sangria swirls) yummy and the guys ordered a beer. We then quickly got seated and I think we got the smallest booth in the whole restaurant!! hahahaha...I think Zach was sitting more in the isle than our actual booth. We had the craziest/weirdest waiter possible!! He would talk sooo fast and move his mouth really crazy and Tiff and I could understand a thing he said!! I mean; we would try and read his lips and that wasn't even possible. We ordered the table side guacamole and me and Tiff basically made it ourselves-SERIOUSLY!! It was delicious, but he asked us about what ingredients and how much and if it should be chunky or more runny?!?!?!!? It was nuts! Our dinner was delicious and we had a couple more drinks, Tiff and I went to the ladies room and we came back and the guys told us we were going to Crickets. That totally wasn't in the plans, but we were wanting another drink and to play some shuffle board and then call it a night. We got to Cricket's ordered drinks, the guys did some shots for Z's bday and then Tiff started feeling weird. Zach went outside with her and she went and sat in the car for a min., so Z came back to tell us what was going on. Well, I told Zach to finish his drink and I would go and keep Tiffany company and we had SOOO much fun!! We ended up sitting in the car for about an hour to an hour and a half. We were talking about anything and everything, we spotted "Texas" and "chicken legs" on her sunroof in raindrops...hahahaha, the moon was really close too!! hahahaha....the guys came out and were SMASHED!! They were too funny and needless to say us girls drove home. It was a great night and I just love hanging out with those two. I can't wait for next weekend. Here are a few pics........

I had to work the other day and I took the girls with me for a couple of hours in the morning. I had my camera in the diaper bag and took a couple of pics of them. Avery colored me a couple of pretty pictures and watched her cartoons. Haidyn just crawled around and played with her toys. They were both very good up there. Later, that night Avery and James were playing around and she was making him give her a piggy back ride and I got some pics of them. I could just sit and watch them play all night! They are soo funny and cute together :)

I had an official "BLONDE" moment the other night and just realized it!! I cooked dinner, we ate, gave the girls a bath and then I went to clean up the kitchen like any other normal night. I opened my tupperware cabinet so I could start putting away the leftovers. I by the way LOVE tupperware!!! As, you can see from my cabinet, it is empty bc I use it all the time! Anywho, I packaged up the little bit of leftovers we had, finished loading the dishwasher, wiped down counters and went about my business. Well, yesterday I worked, then we came home got ready to go to my mom's house for dinner, so I had no reason to use the kitchen yesterday. Well, this afternoon I wanted to make up some chicken salad and I always make it in a tupperware bowl, so I can store my leftovers and eat it the next day. Well, I go and open the kitchen cabinet and this is what I find.....

Wow..really?? hahaha...I guess my mind was just somewhere else!! I just had to blog about my silly moment. I laughed and maybe ya'll will get a little chuckle out of it!!

"Life is Beautiful"

Just like my new background reads, "Life is Beautiful", it totally is!!! Not, always soo perfect and what really is ever perfect, but it is still beautiful!! I believe that everyday you should be soo thankful and blessed for what you do have in your life. If you are having a rough patch, then just pray, know and have faith that it will all get better! Everything in life happens for a reason, I don't always get why it happens this way, but God has a plan. Here are a few of the beautiful things that I am soo very thankful for...

~My BEAUTIFUL and HEALTHY little girls!! I LOVE them with ALL of my heart and I couldn't even imagine my life without them!! They melt my heart and make my world go 'round. I could be having the most aweful day and as soon as I see them and their sweet little faces, everything just seems ok. I LOVE their smiles, laughs, the cute little fat rolls on their legs, how sweet it sounds when Avery tells us "I love you!", their soft skin, sweet fingers and toes, the little noise they make when they sleep, their sleepy little faces right after they wake up, the way I can just make them feel better by picking them up when they are crying. I could seriously just go on forever!! I just cherish every moment with them and they are the MOST beautiful thing about my life :)

~The most AMAZING man and father!! Our love and friendship for one another is soo beautiful! He is my very best friend in the whole world and he just LOVES me soo much! He treats me with soo much respect and our relationship just gets better with age! We are going on 8 yrs. and they have been the best 8 yrs. ever. He is sweet, no one can make me laugh the way he does, I love how silly we can be, I love our nights where we will just lay in bed and have the most off the wall conversations and just laugh, I love how it seems like we can read each others minds, I love how he know just what to say to cheer me up and make me feel better. To watch him with the girls is one of the sweetest things. He loves our little girls soo much and is a total softee when it comes to them. He would do anything for our little girls and he is such an amazing father and I am soo blessed to have him!

~Mine and James's families are soo great and I love them all soo dearly!! We love spending time with our families and we wouldn't trade them for the world. They are all soooo AMAZING to our girls and I am soo thankful for that. They all have big hearts and we would be lost without them.

~I have some of the BEST and most BEAUTIFULLY HEARTED friends in the world!! Some I have known for a while and some I have become really close to in the past 6 months or so. These are all ppl. that I know I could go to if ever I needed something. I am EXTREMELY blessed to have somehow grown closer to Tiff. I think she is one of the most amazing ppl. that I have EVER met and she is such an inspiration to soo many ppl. out there. James, Zach and I all went to high school together and we met each other one night at the mall and then became friends thru myspace. Well, we have since just became great friends and I know that if there is anyone that would do anything within her power for the ppl. that she loves, it is Tiff. She is going thru a difficult journey of concieving a child and I wish for NOTHING more than for her dreams to come true. They would be the most amazing parents and I just don't get how things work sometimes!! I pray for her and her husband everynight and I just know one day it will happen. Tiff is the kind of person, that if I told her 1 of my girls is feeling bad, she writes me everyday until they are better to check on them. She is a total sweetie and I am soo blessed to have a great friend like her!!

~It may not seem BEAUTIFUL to some ppl. to have a job, a roof over your head, food on the table, running water and electricity, but to me is sooo is!! The way the economy is going right now and all of the ppl out there, that have lost their homes and jobs, it just makes me thankful for us having those things. Ya..I lost my job due to the economy, but I work a little part time for James's family and James has a great full time job with Fed-Ex and I am soo grateful!! I had a really hard time when I was let go from my job and I couldn't imagine if James lost his too!! I have talked to several ppl. that have lost their jobs after being with the company for over 20 yrs.!! Wow....how does that happen?!?! It is rough times and I am just soo glad for what we have!

Now, that Haidyn is just crawling everywhere, she is starting to reach up and pull herself up on the furniture. She really hasn't mastered that technique yet bc her little arms just aren't strong enough, so I will help her to stand up. Well, since I do that she thinks it is a game and sooo funny to just fall backwards bc she know I am there to catch her. She just laughs and wants to do it all over again. She will continue to do as long as you will let her. I just feel sorry for her the day that she does pull herself up all on her own and I am not there to catch her!!! I hope and pray that she gets over this before that happens. I recorded a video of her doing this yesterday bc it is too cute :)

Another wonderful weekend w/ Easter as a bonus!

Just another wonderful Heard Family weekend!!! We always have fun on our weekends, but Easter fell in the same weekend and it made it that much better :)

Friday-James was of course at work, so the girls and I woke up and went and ran a couple of errands, then came home and they laid down for a nap. Later, that afternoon we met James's grandma at Hewitt Park and played for a couple of hours. The girls just had a blast and so did I! Their favorite thing was the swings and Avery loved throwing rocks into the creek. After James got off of work we made a trip to the mall to see the Easter bunny. I was raelly happy with the way their pic turned out :). Before leaving the mall, we bought the girls Easter dresses at gymboree (and they are sooo adorable) and then we picked up some Chik-fil-a and it was yummy!! Here are a few pics..

Saturday- James worked :( The girls and I got up, went and bought them some new bows, had lunch and bought some eggs for us to dye later that night. Dying eggs was quite the experience, let me tell you!! Haha...Avery was just sooo eager to do everything!! She had to dye a couple of eggs at 1 time,then wouldn't leave her egg to soak for a minute and then managed to knock over some of the dye cups. Haidyn sat in the highchair and watched all of the action. It was a fun experience and I can't wait till next year. Here are a couple of pics...

Sunday (Easter)- We got up got ready for church and the girls got into their easter basket from the bunny. After church we came home and relaxed for about an hour, then headed over to my grandma's house. We had soo much fun over there and the girls got easter baskets from my mom and grandma. They got lots of candy, clothes, toys, stuff for the pool this summer, bath stuff and money! After, they got their baskets we did an egg hunt for Avery and Haidyn sat in the grass and played with her eggs. Avery was all about that hunt! She LOVED it :). We ate some yummy lunch after the egg hunt and then went and sat on the back porch and the ladies visited, while the men watched the Masters. We left my grandma's and headed out to Lorena to James's grandparents house. We ate dinner out there and watched the kiddos play outside. They did another eggs hunt and Avery helped her Papa with some yard work. She LOVES her Papa and they are soo cute together. We then came home and my dad and step-mom came over to bring the girls their easter stuff and played with them for a while. We are now just relaxing, the kids are asleep and just got done with the Rock of Love Bus finale and I am pissed with who won!!!! BOOTLEG! Haha.. Well, there was our fabulous weekend and I just loved every single second with my sweet family :) Here are our pics from today...

This yrs. trip was a sucess. Last yr. we didn't get a pic of Avery bc she was very afraid of the bunny!! I didn't think that she would sit on his lap this yr., but when she saw sister on the bunny's lap, she then sat on it too. Here is the pic...

Avery was napping today, so I thought that I would take Haidyn out back and let her swing. She love swinging! She laughs soo hard and I think that it tickles her little belly to go back and forth. When she got tired of the swing we went over to one of the slide things that we have in the backyard and I would hold her little hands and she would slide soo fast. She had a blast! I am soo glad that the weather is starting to get warmer and we can spend more time out there.

Today, I was going thru Avery's clothes that I saved for Haidyn, to see what summer stuff she could wear. Well, I came across Avery's 1st little swim suit that she ever wore and I had to get a pic of Haidyn in it too. Here is a pic of Avery in it and a pic of Haidyn too!! It is soo hard to believe that Avery was ever small enough to wear it! I can't believe how big she has gotten.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing weekend!!

It started off friday night, James got off of work and we went to the mall. James had to get a quick haircut, so me and the girls went to the little play area and had a blast. Avery LOVES playing in that little area and slide and go thru the tunnel. James had to wait like an hour to get his haircut, finally he was done and we decided to pile into the photo booth and take a pic. That was tricky!! Haha..trying to get the girls to look in the right spot and position them was interesting!! After the mall we went out to Lorena and visited with his mom and sister. They came down for the weekend to visit us, we stayed for a couple of hrs and came home bc James had to work the next day. Saturday, me and the girls slept til 9:30 and then just played all morning, Haidyn took a quick nap and then we got dressed and left the house. I took them to play at the park for a min. and then thought taking them to woodway park by the lake would be neat. Avery has been to lake before, but she was barely 1 and didn't really know what it was. We pulled up and OH MY..she was SOOOO excited!! She just talked about the water, fish and boats that would go by. She had a blast throwing rocks into the water and decided to take her sandals off bc she wanted to put her feet in the water. She stood there for a long time and I held onto her bc she was wanting to go all the way in and I would not let her!! She is soo ready to swim and play. We watched some kids fishing and are going to probably go back next weekend and have a picnic and James is going to take her fishing for the 1st time. Haidyn slept thru most of the time we were there, but woke up before we left, so I got her out of her seat and let her look at the rocks and water. She didn't know quit what to think of everything. I am excited for summertime with the girls! After, the lake we came home and met James and just relaxed for a while. James told me that he arranged for his mom to watch the girls, so he could take to dinner and a movie :).

Well, I don't know if everyone knows about mine and James's story, so I will quickly explain. James and I were "bf and gf" in the 4th grade to the beginning of the 6th grade, when I had to move away to Valley Mills. Well, I returned in the 8th grade and he was dating someone and we really kinda acted like we didn't know each other. He then moved away in the 9th grade and I didn't really know where he went to. Well, when we were sophmores our sisters ended up playing on the same softball team. It was sooo weird that it had happened like that. Well, we finally said, "hey" to each other and just became really close friends. We would talk for forever on the phone everyday and just hangout at the games together, but never went to do anything outside of the softball fields. He still was not attending Midway and we both had our seperate group of friends. The more we hungout with each other and got to know each other, we really started developing feeling for each other, but didn't want to date and it not work out and it ruin our friendship. Well, then we both started dating other ppl. and we would see each other with someone else and we HATED it!! From, then on we decided that we were willing to take the risk to be with each other and I am SOOOOOO glad that we did!! I think it was total fate that our sister's were on the same softball team!! It is soo weird to think where my life would be at right now, if just say my sister happened to not play that yr.?? He didn't plan on coming back to Midway, but bc I was there he did. Anywho...our 1st time to hangout and go do something outside of the softball fields, was to go to a movie. It wasn't a date, it was us just meeting up there and just being friends. I took my sister with me and he brought his brother with him. Well, the 1st ever movie we saw together was Fast and Furious. Well, the new one came out this weekend and he wanted to go and see it with me bc it was our 1st movie together :) I know..it probably doesn't sound like a very romantic movie or anything, but I love it and mostly bc it was our 1st movie and it was with James. So, we went to eat at Red Lobster last night and then headed to a 10:10 showing of Fast and Furious. We stand in line to get our tickets and they were totally sold out of F&F!! BOOOOO...well, we still wanted to see a movie and heard that I love you, man was suppose to be really funny and boy was it!!! We laughed the whole time and my stomach hurt from laughing!!! It was great and we are going to go sometime this week to watch F&F.

After, the movie we went to pick up the girls and came home and crashed. Today, we got up and went and had breakfast and then came home and just lounged. I did some laundry and some cleaning, but nothing major. All in all, it was a fantastic weekend!

There are soo many reasons why I love springtime. One of the many is the bluebonnets!! I just think they are gorgeous and I love taking pics of the girls in them. This was the 1st yr. that Haidyn got her pics in them and Avery's 3rd. I got a couple of really good ones. Avery was kinda sick when we went to do them, but she wanted to get out of the house. I got 2 cute ones of them together, but I Tiff had to try and edit them alittle. They are both looking and smiling so pretty, but Av's eyes in one look like she doesn't feel too good and the other one, she has snot coming out of one nostril :( We are suppose to go again this weekend and get some family pics of us in them and I will post those pics, along with the ones that Tiff edited. So, Haidyn's newest trick is waving, "bye-bye". She cracks me up at how much stuff she is learning. She is starting to get up on her knees, and put her little feet under her and pull up on the furniture. She is saying, "no, no" bc Avery tells her that ALL the time. HAHAH..Avery is having to learn to share her stuff and she is not liking it too much, but she is getting better! She of course says, "mama and dada" too. She claps her hands when you say, "yay" or say the nursery rhyme, "Patty Cake". Anywho..here is a video of her waving to me. Sorry about it being sideways, I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to edit and flip it the right way!
